Diablo 3 – Season 4 information
I changed the guild chat server from Ventrilo to Mumble tonight as a test. So far I like it a lot better. The response rate is killer, the sound quality is very high, and it’s able to be customized to allow me to use it as we would Skype for real time chatting during arenas. You can set all the threshold levels for when it picks up your voice, etc. All in all, I’m pretty pleased with it. This isn’t something we’re 100% locked into. Typefrag gives me the ability to convert back to a Ventrilo server or even to a TeamSpeak server for the same price with no additional cost for switching.

Try it out and let me know your thoughts!
Today, Diablo III released patch 1.0.3. This brings in a ton of changes including a nerf to Inferno mode. Perhaps this will allow some of us to make some further progress in the game without needing to perfect our gear. SWTOR is in the midsts of major server consolidation/transfers. Mind Trick, our server has been opened up to transfer to Corellian Run. If someone with an active account in the guild can give us a status update, we may want to look at moving the guild to the new server.
Mists of Pandaria continues to go through beta testing with level 90 being open for a couple weeks now. There is a TON of new stuff coming in MoP and even though I was not very excited about most of it to start with the more I read about the coming features, etc… The more excited I am about playing it. My initial thoughts is, it well let a casual guild like Enigma have a lot more to do on a daily basis than previous expansions.
I’m glad to see we still have some folks checking in on the site periodically. Let’s get people back here and active. I miss playing games with everyone and want to ensure we continue a strong bond across multiple games.
I finally hit 60 on my wizard last night. I’m still in Act 3 on Hell mode, but I feel like I’m pretty prepared for Inferno at this point. I have to say, the last couple of levels seemed to drag, but I think that was mostly because I was soloing a lot of them. Anyway, since I’m done with XP at this point, if anyone needs help with anything, I’m around to help out. I’ll be working on finishing up Hell to get to Inferno this weekend, so if you see me online and need some DPS holler!
I know Mike was pretty close to 60 as well as Pete. Ptank and Paul aren’t too far behind. Where’s everyone else stand? Do we want to do some group Inferno level stuff at 60? Are people going to try out hardcore mode?
